Welcome to Yoga at the Barn

I teach gentle, friendly and accessible Hatha yoga classes in East Sussex, Surrey and since the pandemic on Zoom. Our classes include relaxation and meditation. All our movements in class are made carefully and mindfully to lead to a deep sense of relaxation and wellbeing.

Yoga has changed my life. I have been practising yoga for 20 years and 10 years ago qualified as a teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga. My aim as a teacher is to pass on the many benefits of yoga and meditation.

Yoga is not just about physical exercise, this is the tip of the iceberg! Yoga works with the body, mind and breath together. It can help you to find some calm in the midst of an often frantic and stressful world.

My first teacher was the inspirational Cathy-Mae Karelse and I have been lucky enough to study with many wonderful teachers including Matthew Sanford, John Stirk and Catherine Annis.

Meditation is a vital part of my practise and I attend regular Buddhist meditation retreats.
